1. COMPANY TYPE AND MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE

Mextur, Lda - Moçambique Expresso Turismo e Viagens, Limitada, is a Limited Liability Commerical Shareholding Company, whose shareholders are, LAM - Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (Mozambican Airlines) with 65%, IGEPE 25% and Sociedade Austral de Desenvolvimento (Southern Development Society) 10%. Constituted in 1992 with the objective of operating in the branch of Travel Agency and Tourism, and similar services, is a pioneer in the field in Mozambique. It is a member of IATA (International Air Transport Association)since May, 1995. It is also a founding member of AVITUM, Associação das Agências de Viagens de Moçambique (Association of Mozambique Travel Agencies) since 2002.

Professional and infrastructure base

Committed with achieving and exceeding its clients’ expectations, MEXTUR, presentsa very flexible and dynamic structure,with front line personnel that are highly prepared in the business field.

The Agency has 11 employees, among which are travel consultants with a big professional experience attained while working at airline companies and travel agencies and other areas of economic activities, especially concerning customer service. Fluent communication in Portuguese, English, French and local languages is a highlight.

The booking and sales system isTravel Port, commonly known as Galileo, interconnectedwith the sales systems of airline companies IATA – BSP.

The modernTravel Port (Galileo)system allows to access all airline companies in real time, such as – LAM, FAST JET, South African Airways, Kenya Airways, Air France, Qatar Airways, Emirates, TAP, Etihad Airways, Air Mauritius, Ethiopian Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Delta Airlines, Jet Airways, TAAG, Turkish Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Hahn Airlines, thus ensuring connection to the whole world. Bookings and rent-a-car service sales and accommodation in hotels are processed via the same system.

• Through partners we facilitate the negotiation for rental service of conference rooms that are totally equipped according to the type of event and number of participants;
• Transport/transferfrom and to the event(s);
• Production of merchandising and respective stationery material for the event (participants’ identification cards, badges, flyers,banners, etc.); 
• Organization of the event’s respective catering (coffee-breaks, lunches, cocktails, etc.);
• Organization of tours to various touristic sights in the respective event’s cityand outskirts;
